It might be unusual but I read J. D. Salinger´s The Catcher in the Rye quite late, in adult age.

I could not identify with the youth feelings of misery, mostly because I have enough to do with my adult feelings of misery, but I fully understand the hero´s dislike of the theatre piece. For me it was delightful moment of joy and tears of laughter.
Since the moment I finished reading I have been holding an idea in my head of editing video based on the book. And I am talking about the part of it, the absurd melodrama described by the young guy.
